Beans Ularthiyathu

Ingredients

Beans - 1/2 kg
Green chillies -(split diagonally) - 2 - 3 nos
Small onions(Kunjulli) - 6 - 8 nos (crushed)
Garlic pods(big) - 5 - 6 nos (crushed)
Grated coconut - 2 - 3 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - A few
Oil - As reqd
Salt - As reqd

Method of Preparation
Cut the beans into 1/4 inch pieces. Cook it with green chillies, turmeric and salt with very little water. When the water fully evaporates and beans is done, keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan.
Splutter mustard seeds and add crushed onion, garlic and few curry leaves. Saute it well.
When onion and garlic turns brown, add grated coconut and red chilli powder. Stir it for a few seconds and add the cooked beans to it and stir fry for 1 - 2 mins on low flame.
